Question 1

Can I change the text that is already in the PDF?

Accepted Answer

Yes. With the "Edit text" tool you tap a line of the document and change it. When you download, the original text is removed from the file and the new one is written in the same place, with a similar font (not always the same as the original). It does not work on scanned documents, where the text is part of an image.

Question 2

How do I sign a PDF?

Accepted Answer

Use the Signature tool: draw it with your mouse or finger, or type your name and pick a style. You can save it on your device for next time and add the date with the Date tool.

Question 3

Can I find and replace a word in the whole PDF?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In the editor, press "Find and replace" (or Ctrl + H), type what you are looking for and the new text. You will see every match with its page and can choose which ones to change. It ignores case and accents unless you ask it not to.

Question 4

How do I hide confidential information?

Accepted Answer

Use the Redact tool and cover what you want to hide. When you download, whatever is under the black box is really removed from the file and the rest of the page does not change.

Question 5

Can I rotate or delete pages while editing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The panel on the right lets you rotate, duplicate and delete the current page. You can also undo any change.

Question 6

Is it free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All LeuPaPDF tools are free and you do not need to sign up.

Question 7

Are my files uploaded to a server?

Accepted Answer

No. The file is processed inside your browser, on your device. Nobody else can see it and it is gone when you close the tab.
